¶ These sites require RealPlayer. The $ub$cription version of RealPlayer (or RealOne) is very easy to find, the free version less so. The Window$ version of RealPlayer has become an annoying piece of commercial adware; the Linux version remains clean, elegant, and simple to operate (at least for now). Just my opinion…

¶ These sites require a player that can play streaming MP3 or OGG files, such as the Unix version of RealPlayer. If you are using a different operating system, I recommend one of the following:
- VLC - A free cross-platform media player for Windows, MacOSX, BeOS, PocketPC, various BSDs, Solaris, and more.
- winamp - Nullsoft's remarkable media player: requires Windows 98 or later
- XMMS - An excellent multimedia player for unix systems, similar to winamp.
- I list no media that plays on only one operating system or on a single hardware platform.
